Application of sound level meter

Noise measurements have become common in production because the people have become more noise minded as the number of mechanised aids in daily life have increased. To provide more comfortable conditions for the users of equipment and because 'noiseless' is a natural requirement, the manufacturers have developed a routine of measuring the noise levels on their finished products. The advantage of noise checks compared to direct mechanical measurements is obvious, as noise checks can be carried out in a few seconds while mechanical measurements of the same phenomenon consumes much more time.
