Electrical Conductivity

This chapter is about electrical conductivity (EC), which helps in checking the purity of distilled and deionized water. EC is a measure of the ability of water to conduct an electric current and depends on the concentration of the ions (higher concentration, higher EC), the temperature of the solution (high temperature, higher EC), specific nature of the ions (higher specific ability and higher valence, higher EC).
